Interview
I was contacted by the company talent hiring manager to apply for that position. I did it quickly and couple of days after I was invited to do a video recording answering 5 questions related to my previous experience as a Project Manager. Total video took aprox. 20 minutes. 2 weeks later I was invited for a face to face interviews at the Victoria's office. I talked to 5 different persons from managers, directors and HR personel. 2 weeks later I had my last interview over the phone with another director.

Question 1
Tell us about a case where you had a challenging event (a milestone, project, etc) and how you've performed to overtake the situation.
First interview with a recruiter which went well. Second interview with associate director who was really unprepared and didn’t ask good questions. You could tell that she didn’t want to work there so I wasn’t interested in the job after the interview. I was told I would hear from HR and then just got ghosted.

Interview
Illumina is a great company, but I would stay away from their jobs in the marketing/product side until they release their company-wide strategy. The teams are disorganized, which is to be expected during transition years. I made it to the end of my process just to find out they never had funding for the role. While I enjoyed the team, I thought it was very disrespectful of them to waste my time, especially when they asked for a presentation. The interview comprised of phone screening, an interview with the hiring manager, team interviews, a presentation, and a final round with the head of the department. The interview was time-consuming and extensive but valid for the level of role they were hiring for. The prompt they asked me to present was in relation to one of their products, which seemed like they wanted a free strategy consultation. Illumina has always been an aspirational company, but preventing changes across leadership has left the teams lacking strategy and leadership. I would stay away from this company for now, but keep an eye out for when things begin to change!
