I applied through a recruiter. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Impel (New York, NY) in July 2019
Interview
I first learned about SpinCar through a recruiter. After a fifteen minute phone screen with the lead engineer, at the time, I was emailed their take home project. It took a few days to finish. Within a day of receiving the project they called me back to set up an in-house interview, which was set up to happen within the week.
The instructions and directions to get into the building were clear and easy. Upon arrival I was greeted by the lead engineer and given a quick tour of the place and offered water or coffee. We then headed to the conference room where I was given an explanation of what SpinCar does and a chance to ask any questions I had. After that the Android Software Engineer and I went over my code in the project and I was able to ask any other questions I had. There would have been another quick interview with the CTO, but he was out that day. It was about an hour and a half interview when all was said and done.
It was around a week later when they extended an offer for the position.
