I recently attended an interview for a Data Architect position. The interviewer said he had been with the company for over 19 years. During the discussion I realize that he possess limited or no knowledge of Azure. Because of this, he couldn’t relate to the solutions I was explaining. During the interview, he gave insincere, condescending smiles that felt humiliating. At one point, I considered ending the session but decided to continue, even though it turned out to be a waste of time. He wasn’t open to hearing different solutions and only wanted answers that matched his own ideas. Overall, it was a disappointing experience with a company that claims to be a leader in data engineering.

There will be 2 technical rounds and HR rounds. Mostly the discussion will be scenario based and i was interviewed on Google Cloud and platform building, data management, governance layers.
