Recruitment day consisting of group activities as well as a short 1:1 interview. They said it would only last 2-2.5 hours, but the group activities ran well over time and it instead lasted 3.5 hours.
They also started the session by telling everyone that they were only looking to hire 3 people. What is the point of wasting everyone’s unpaid time if there’s only a 1 in 10 chance of getting a place? Very unprofessional.
You get the feeling that the recruitment team were using the day to train themselves in these situations to use for their own experience.
