I applied online. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at Intelligent Flying Machines (Chicago, IL) in Aug 2018
Interview
Phone screen, followed by technical interview over video, followed by onsite. Company paid for flights/travel, entire process lasted about a week. There were no leetcode-style questions, mostly pragmatic questions about how you would do X/Y/Z in Python, a little bit of coding, speaking to the other engineers and the CEO to assess culture fit. Was very relaxing and pleasant compared to other interviews I've been to.
