They started off strong. Frequent and transparent communication about the process and what was to come. They assigned a 3-part, 3 hour project with no compensation. Ironically, worker's rights---such as fair pay--- is one of their causes that they care about. They then pulled a "You'll hear from us whether you get the job or not by [insert date]" and ghosted me. Over a month later I reach out (read: call them out on it), and they claim they did reject me via email and that I must've missed it. I didn't; there wasn't a rejection email in my junk mail or trash. In summary: They butter you up during the interview stage, make you work for free, ghost you, and then gaslight you.
