I applied online. The process took 2 months. I interviewed at John Hancock (Boston, MA) in Dec 2018
Interview
I was contacted for a phone interview with two higher up software managers where we reviewed my background and resume. Then I was invited on site for a mini super day. I first met with two more managers discussing my experiences and basic technical topics and then I did a technical scenario situation. You're given about 20 minutes to prepare for about 6 questions concerning a technical project you might be a part of and the decisions you would make. You then present your answers for about 5 minutes and answer any questions the interviewer might have about your approach. Very straight forward and lets you get creative.
I was also given a tour of the office. I received an offer a couple days later. Very easy process.
