Got an automated email to come down for the interview- had two slots, I picked up the first available slot- Interview was done by a 3 people from three departments, digital, loyalty and product(I guess). Questions where sort of JLP, how you deal with other partner/if they object what will you do..bla bla bla..then I was told to put together a presentation on how I would help acquire users for their App. I'm 100% sure I've smashed the interview- I saw this from the same from their face too.. One of them was surprised by the points/ideas I gave. I waited for over 4 weeks to get a feedback.. everyone seemed to be hiding including the resource team.. Atlast I got an automatic email saying I didn't go through- for which I needed a feedback- they went hiding again, I wasn't be desprerate but wanted to know why this workout as I was sure this was my gig. Got the feedback FINALLY from the resource team I didn't talk more about JLP (which I believe I did) asked about the presentation and acquisition ideas- she said they loved it and rejection was just because I didn't talk much JLP.
My bad I should have only a high-level idea rather than penetrating further, on how these should be done.. my roadmap for acquisition instore and online was for a year and later I knew someone from the same team started handling the role. Such a waste of time.. they will do anything to cut cost on hiring and getting maximum ideas from the interview.. NOTE= they put points on each questions - which I was not told during the interview, resource manager said the interviewer should have told you this before starting the interview, no idea why they didn't mention.. I wouldn't recommend TBH- but good luck with your interview and ideas only highlevel do not go into details, they will keep asking- but try tacking those! So cheeky they are!
