The first step of the interview was a virtual one-on-one where the role was discussed and I was able to share my experience. It was a fairly standard interview experience with no curveballs. Following the interview, I was informed that I would receive an update regarding next steps within a few days. I was ultimately ghosted and did not receive any further communication regarding the position despite following up afterward. While I understand organizational priorities and hiring timelines can change, more consistent communication throughout the process would have contributed to a more positive candidate experience.
