I applied through an email to HR. Got contacted with a proposal to solve a 2 days long exercise which I did.
After several days waiting for feedback, contacted the company and only after that I got invited for a personal interview with the CEO, CTO and CFO.
During the interview I was asked about my personal journey and current motivation, then I discussed my exercise solution with the CFO.
By that time I was sure both the CEO and CTO were looking really apprehensive about the interview. Then, some background questions emerged. I responded politely, avoiding personal opinions about my previous employers.
At the end, they promissed some feedback the next day.
A day passed and the response was that they couldn't continue with the process as they found my past experiences to look negative.
