Jynns interview questions

Weird interview process. I applied for a Marketing position, but the hiring manager (HR) kept pushing me toward the event team to do execution work, even though I repeatedly mentioned that I’m stronger in planning and want to contribute in areas where I excel and am genuinely interested. I don’t mind helping with execution occasionally, but I also want to be involved in planning. What made me really uncomfortable was how the hiring manager tried to give me a ‘hard time’ by saying things like I need to work very hard, think about work even while taking a shower, and sacrifice my personal time for the company. The way she spoke felt very off-putting. Also, a heads-up, they might follow your personal Instagram account to observe your lifestyle after the interview which I find intrusive. On top of that, before the interview even started, they asked me to fill out an employment application that included a question like, ‘What do you spend your money on?’ Honestly, that felt inappropriate and crossed a line.

The HR is friendly and explains clearly. They explain the work range for me and what I need to do. They also asked about me, to make sure I match what they were looking for.
