I applied online. I interviewed at K2 Integrity (New York, NY)
Interview
I went through this process a little over 2 years ago. The HR coordinator reached out to schedule a first round interview with the Talent Acquisition Manager. It was pretty straightforward background/ get to know you call. After completing that round, I had a second round interview with the Managing Director. That interview was a bit more through, and from what I recall discussed skillsets related to research and the job description. I didn't have any further rounds after that.

Question 1
How have you been able to find research when it wasn't readily available?
I applied online. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at K2 Integrity (London, England) in Mar 2024
Interview
My first interview was conducted online with mid-level managers, who asked standard questions such as “Talk us through your CV,” “Why are you interested in this role?” and “Why this company?”
Following the interview, I was sent a three-hour assessment consisting of a research exercise. Upon submitting the completed task, I was invited to attend a second-round interview at the office. During this stage, I was required to present my findings to two senior managers, followed by a Q&A session.
In total I did five (!) separate video interviews, plus a four-hour-long written assessment. A month and a half after the assessment, I was finally asked to do yet another interview (!!), which I declined. In my opinion the process was just unnecessarily stuffy and bureaucratic.
Also worth noting: one of the higher-up K2 interviewers was pretty disparaging of the role, and said they doubted that I would enjoy it. I found this to be an odd (if not somewhat rude) thing to say to a candidate.
All that being said, I spoke with some pleasant people during the process. It seems like the team is made up of very intelligent people who take their work seriously.
