Interview
The interview started 10m late, and was really informal which was fine but I was told I’d be emailed the next day with a time for a trial shift and never received an email back. I emailed asking when I could come in for a trial shift and did get a reply. When I went in I asked what time I finish and he said whenever I want and when I asked when he recommends he said whenever you want to go. Not helpful when I’m trying to do what you want so I can get the job. He gave me a sheet to look at with the table layout and how to set up tables and lwft me to look at that for about 45m. The trial shift went pretty well and at the end I asked what the next steps were and he told me to sleep on it and email him in the morning. But he’s the one hiring so that’s confusing you know I want the job that’s why I applied and emailed when you didn’t contact me. I email the next day and never got a response.

it was barely even an interview. He swore during it as if we were casual friends and said to come in for a trial shift. During the trial shift, he assumed I knew what to do and gave me no training. When I emailed to follow up, I was met with no reply.
