I applied through university. I interviewed at Kimley-Horn (College Park, MD) in Nov 2020
Interview
I first went to an information session for Kimley-Horn at my university and then went to a career fair and talked to one of the hiring managers about my prior experience and future goals. A few days later, I was invited to a virtual interview with another hiring manager that lasted about 30 minutes, basically just asking me about things on my resume and my interests at KHA. A week later I was invited to interview at a specific office where I talked to 6 team members I would work with for 30 minutes each. That interview lasted 2 hours.
It was fine and good I talked to many different people over teams and they were all very nice. They told me about their positions and then asked me to tell them about myself.
Simple, easy, quick phone call to start with to get to know each other and ask questions. It only took 30 minutes or less. After the phone call, they only reach out if they want you because otherwise you have to contact them to hear back.
I applied online. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Kimley-Horn (Columbus, OH) in Apr 2022
Interview
Very in-depth and long interview, was about three hours but was enjoyable, Multiple different groups asking different groupings of questions ranging form technical to personality to achievements and future goals.
