Initial in person interview with the hiring manager and a phone call with the sales VP. The process was smooth and interviews were thorough. I was offered the job and then asked to take a personality assessment through the predictive index. I followed up for my written offer and was informed that while the assessment was not pass/fail with right or wrong answers, my offer had been rescinded because of my results. This implied that it was indeed pass/fail. Offers should not be extended when they are still subject to assessments like that. I would also advise Kinetic to review if they should continue to use the assessment for hiring decisions going forward as PI’s own website talks about how to beat the test. A quick google search will tell you that using these assessments for hiring decisions is not a good practice.
