An intern contacted me for an interview and was so unresponsive I wasn't sure this was even a legit company, but it apparently is. Intern scheduled me for an interview and then cancelled t the last minute asking me when I was again available. I emailed him back and 4 days later still no response. So very unprofessional. I decided to call the owner on my own and what I found was they advertised this job as an hourly position which paid up to $37 an hour dependent on experience. (I have 20 years experience) Suddenly the position became salary position required 7 days availability to be on-call overnight and on weekends in addition to working full-time during the day. The pay would average less than $20 an hour. It felt like a bait & switch. When the green intern was doing their bidding, my gut instinct was to stay away from this unprofessional employer- and I am.
