      Stocking Interview

      20 Apr 2016
      Anonymous employee
      Accepted offer
      Positive experience
      Easy interview

      Application

I applied online. The process took 6 days. I interviewed at Kroger in Apr 2016

      Interview

I submitted an online application through their website on April 15th, and got a call on April 19th to set up an interview (for the 20th). The interview was very relaxed, professional but not overly rigid. She was pleasant, polite, friendly and I felt at ease the whole time. The interview took about 30 minutes start to finish. She asked about prior work experience first (I have none, which is probably why she asked first) and then got to the questions. Stepped out for a minute, came back in and offered me a position as a courtesy clerk (basically bagging groceries and offering to help with carrying them). There was a drug test; I held a cotton swab in my cheek while filling out some paperwork. She then scheduled an orientation for May 2nd and thanked me for my time.
