I applied in-person. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at Kroger (North Augusta, SC) in Oct 2012
Interview
Didn't take very long they ask you very simple questions. Just making sure that you can work and not be lazy at your job. The biggest thing is on the application always use I strongly agree or I strongly disagree and you are in.
I applied online. I interviewed at Kroger in June 2026
Interview
Interview was very brief and only asked me my previous employment history and availability. I was then given a run down of what the position would entail and had to sign a couple papers proving that it was explained to me. Overall not too bad and was very laid back.
I applied online. The process took 2 days. I interviewed at Kroger (Hilliard, OH) in Dec 2025
Interview
Rote, simplistic, smarmy interviewer. Typical open ended questions regarding customer service. I got the distinct impression that I was being eliminated due to my age. I frequently shop at the store and there are very few employees over age 45.
Easy, very basic questions, pretty much just questions based on prior employment and contributions to team work.Easy, very basic questions, pretty much just questions based on prior employment and contributions to team work.
