Interview
I went to one of the job fairs that was happening across the county, and they gave us all a number and lined us up and we went in a certain number at a time. They basically placed us where they needed people and I basically got the job that day since I agreed to be in the deli where they desperately needed people.

Interview
I got a phone call on Thursday morning about this position, I was asked to go to a face to face interview the following morning. I got there 20 minutes before my scheduled time. The lady I was interviewing with was running late. When she showed up in was called into her office. Introduced ourselves and begun the interview. I thought it was going really well. Then all of a sudden she says well we don't have any open positions available in the store. So why did I get a call for a interview if no positions were available? I left pretty frustrated and mad. Why waste people's time like that! She really didn't even ask any job related questions except two. We mostly spoke about previous places lived and our children. The interview didn't last long at all. The woman wasn't professional at all.

I applied through an employee referral. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at Kroger (Marietta, GA) in Apr 2014
Interview
I was called in by the manage to sit down and chat for a bit. Wasn't really in depth or anything but it did help me know the man. You took a drug test before the interview and they asked you what times you'd want to work. It's pretty simple really it's not like this job is difficult. You don't even really need to dress up. Just don't wear a t-shirt and shorts and you'll be fine.
