I applied in-person. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at Kroger (Hamilton, OH)
Interview
It happen so long ago, many things have changed I guess for the better. More is done now on the computer. There is more chances of getting a job with all the new store openings. Interviews are pretty quick. They often hired someone with no experience. Promote within. It does take longer now of days waiting on back ground checks.
I applied online. I interviewed at Kroger in June 2026
Interview
Interview was very brief and only asked me my previous employment history and availability. I was then given a run down of what the position would entail and had to sign a couple papers proving that it was explained to me. Overall not too bad and was very laid back.
I applied online. The process took 2 days. I interviewed at Kroger (Hilliard, OH) in Dec 2025
Interview
Rote, simplistic, smarmy interviewer. Typical open ended questions regarding customer service. I got the distinct impression that I was being eliminated due to my age. I frequently shop at the store and there are very few employees over age 45.
Easy, very basic questions, pretty much just questions based on prior employment and contributions to team work.Easy, very basic questions, pretty much just questions based on prior employment and contributions to team work.
