I applied online. The process took 6 weeks. I interviewed at Kroo (United Kingdom) in June 2025
Interview
I applied via Linkedin and process took around six weeks, there were delays on the process on both sides hence it took longer than expected. The interview consisted of three stages:
-Interview with current SA and IT Manager
-Interview with CISO
-Interview with CTO
First interview seemed a bit disorganised and technical questions were focused on the exact steps to achieve the goal instead of concept conversation.
Second interview was an open discussion with CISO which was good to exchange the different concepts and approach towards the security stance.
Third interview was an opened discussion as well but it felt like decision (positive) has been already made and CTO was only ensuring that right person is being hired.
In general the interview process was simple yet unorganised, on several stages I felt ghosted by the team when reaching out about next steps. After last interview it felt that receiving offer is only formality but team has never reached back to me and did not respond to any of my emails, from what I see the job posting has been taken down so I guess someone else filled the position but at least a generic email regarding my application would be appreciated.

I applied through an employee referral. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at Kroo (United Kingdom)
Interview
Interviewed with a team leader and a senior from the team, I believe the interview went well we got along well and the conversations were encouraging.
I was told I’d hear back within a week regarding the outcome give or take a few days due to annual leave. No response was ever provided despite sending several follow up emails to all 3 parties involved.
I understand that sometimes candidates won’t fit and there’s red tape involved but an extremely poor reflection of the company and people team in my opinion to not even provide a big standard rejection statement.

I applied online. The process took 2 months. I interviewed at Kroo (United Kingdom) (London, England) in Jan 2025
Interview
I was in a process for a senior role. I had two interviews and then completely ghosted. I sent 3 follow-ups over a month long period and no response from the senior people leader who was running the process. Obviously I have now given up! Its absolutely fine to reject a candidate after an interview, or for circumstances to change - but its unprofessional and disrespectful to candidates that are in a process for several months to never communicate with them again and ignore all follow ups.
Its a real shame as some of the people I met were great, and from the outside at least, they seem like a great company. There is however something very wrong with the hiring processes in this team.
