Just took an assessment to test your knowledge in math and reading to be capable or teaching students how to apply concepts. People who are working here usually are high school/college students or previous students at Kumon.

Interview
Super simple. I had an initial phone screening, and they asked me to come in for an in-person interview. During the interview, they asked me about myself, gave me a tour, and explained the work hours while discussing which schedule would work best for me.
Quick and easy in about 3-4 questions. I walked right in and got things started. I was seated in the classroom and it was only the franchise owner that interviewed me.
The interview was extremely short and contained brief questions. Not a lot of them referred to any prior knowledge regarding math or English skills. The most important ones are regarding one's ability to work with children.
