Note: I interviewed at Lin Digital, a newly acquired company by Lin Media. (Formerly Red Mccombs Media) I submitted a resume/cover letter, we exchanged emails, we scheduled an interview. The process was relaxed, and the interview was mostly conversational. The office seems to consist of a fairly young workforce. People don't seem to interact across departments. The whole process was positive, but I found it a bit unprofessional they never formally indicated the position had been filled. Had I not heard from an acquaintance, I would have been waiting to hear back for 2 months. (They had informed me it would take that long to make a decision.)
