      Application

I applied through a staffing agency. I interviewed at Lam Research (Bengaluru) in Apr 2026

      Interview

I went through five interview rounds with the company—three technical and two managerial—and successfully cleared all of them. After that, I was asked to submit multiple documents, including my previous offer letter, payroll details, passport, and other information for offer processing. Everything was reviewed and confirmed to be clear, which naturally gave me strong hope and confidence. Unfortunately, after this stage, communication completely broke down. My follow‑up calls and emails were ignored, and I was left in silence for nearly two weeks. Eventually, I received a rejection email. What was most disappointing was not the rejection itself, but the unprofessional handling of the process. Ghosting candidates after collecting sensitive documents and raising expectations reflects poorly on the company’s recruitment ethics. Transparency and timely communication are basic courtesies, especially after candidates invest significant time, effort, and emotional energy. This experience left me feeling that my time, energy, and—most painfully—hope were needlessly wasted. I genuinely believe the company needs to rethink how it treats candidates and improve accountability in its hiring process.

      Easy interview

      Application

I applied through a staffing agency. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at Lam Research (Bengaluru) in Dec 2019

      Interview

The interview process consisted of an aptitude test followed by face to face rounds. It was well managed by careernet consultancy. Aptitude test is very important as they filter out 50% + people in this round itself. Technical round was very good where in they asked about basics of testing and basic java programs.Next round was managerial round, which is mostly behavioural and they ask about your experiences, hobbies, last projects etc. It was a good experience overall, not too technical. Felt bad that even after giving so many rounds of interviews i didnt get selected. But still it was a good experience overall. Lunch was also provided to all the candidates waiting, which was a good gesture.

      Application

I applied through a staffing agency. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Lam Research (Dublin, Dublin) in June 2019

      Interview

First round was telephonic round where they want to know about my prior experience and type of work I have done. Then, it was 5 hr face to face on-site interview with 6 different members. There were 4 rounds. First round was to find error in code, test and interface and tell about your previous experience. Second round was technical like asked about Jenkins, how to configure it, how to schedule the job in Jenkins , questions on java, Linux, gave code and ask how to test it. Almost 1.5 hrs of technical round. Then 3 Rd round was basically physics and maths round. This is weird. No where in their JD, it was mentioned that they need people with very good physics knowledge and should be able to solve problems using physics and mathematics. 4th round is basically a formality
