I applied online. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Leah (Vancouver, BC) in June 2022
Interview
15 minute Initial screening interview, followed by a 30 minute interview by a Product Director and finally 30 minute interview by a CTO . Screening interview and interview with the Director of Product were "by the book" and cordial, interview with the CTO was... strange. CTO seemed preoccupied with his email, hardly asked any questions and just dropped off after 10 minutes awkwardly.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
Why ContractPod? How would your coworkers describe you? How do you work in a product role with Engineering.
Screening and first round with hiring manager seemed to go well, but communication (from recruiter or anyone) really dropped off after that.
After I prepped a product exercise they assigned, I had a second round with a couple of people on the team. It was a bit awkward as I was expecting the hiring manager to be there and I hadn't been given the names of the two who did interview me beforehand (so I had no idea who they were or their background). Also, there seemed to be a disconnect between the exercise I'd been asked to prepare and what they thought I was presenting? I don't think they had looked at my resume either.
At the end of that session, I wasn't really given any info on what next steps would be. Basically got ghosted after that. Not a great experience.

Lovely people to meet, constructive and interesting conversations. I had prepared a lot but mostly it was a great and genuine discussion. They gave good feedback as well, which was courteous.
