Interview
I interviewed with LeapMind mid last year. There were two technical interviews and a cultural interview. Overall the interview process was good. The first technical interview involved a couple of coding problems. This was performed on call with one of the engineers. I felt that the problems were of a reasonable difficulty, and had more practical relevance than some LeetCode style problems I have encountered in interviewing with other companies. The second technical interview was Machine Learning focused. It did not require any live coding, but I was asked about various questions about Machine Learning. In the technical interviews as well as the cultural interview I spoke Japanese with the interviewers. My Japanese is not perfect, but they were understanding and I felt despite some nerves, things went smoothly. Ultimately I was offered a role. It was a difficult choice, but ultimately I declined in favor of another, more competitive offer.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
I was asked to describe potential ways of performing object detection in the context of Computer Vision Machine Learning.
I applied online. The process took 2 days. I interviewed at LeapMind in May 2022
Interview
send online coding test link, but the questions were all very badly introduced. No meaningful parameter names, no initial conditions, very confusing. Basically, you have to carefully examine the sample output to guess what they want.

Question 1
basic leetcode-like questions. Not hard, but very bad and confusing
