I applied online. I interviewed at Lidl (Greenwood, SC) in May 2017
Interview
I applied for the position on Indeed. I received an email 3 weeks later inviting me to sign-up for an interview. My interview ended up being rescheduled by the manager, so I showed up the next week. I was interviewed at another location with two store managers. They asked me basic interview questions like a introduction of me, weaknesses, availability, past job experiences, why I chose the company, and situational questions. Overall, they were impressed with what I told them about me and what I knew about the company. I was told I will receive an email for a job offering within 7-10 business days. I received the email after 10 days with a job offer.

Question 1
Tell me about yourself. What are your weaknesses? Why Lldl? What do you know about the company? How did you overcome a difficult situation at work?
It was a conversation with the manager. He asked me about my experience, where I thought I’d be in 5 years, why I wanted to work there, and similar type interview questions.
Overall, it was a basic interview process. They asked about experience and why someone would be a good fit for the role. Just have some well-thought-out answers to common interview questions beforehand, and you should be fine.
I applied in-person. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Lidl (Fresh Meadows, NY) in June 2025
Interview
Really easy interview process. Simple behavioral questions and scenario questions. Little to no pressure, very laid back. You should know the companies overall message and use that while interviewing for this position. Almost anyone can get hired, with or without experience.
