I applied online. I interviewed at Lidl (Newtownabbey, Northern Ireland)
Interview
It was a one to one interview. There were two people doing the interview. The asked me to tell them about myself and then asked a couple of scenario questions like when have you been flexible at work and tell me an example of when you've had to deal with a difficult customer. The interview was very easy going and both people were very nice.

Question 1
Tell me about yourself.
Why Lidl.
When have you had problem working in a team and how did you resolve them.
Why did you leave your last job.
Have you worked under pressure and dealt with customers at the same time before?
I applied online. The process took 5 weeks. I interviewed at Lidl (Newcastle upon Tyne, England) in July 2022
Interview
I had a scenario with options to test decision making skills along with generic interview questions. Managers didn't know clearly what the salary was for the role being interviewed for. Extremely poor feedback from interview. When I asked all I was told was that someone else had been offered the role.

Question 1
The store is busy and you notice a spill, there is no milk out, the fruit is untidy and that they need help on checkouts, your manager is busy. What order do you do this in?
Online exercises, including maths and situational judgemnt. When successful then followed by face to face interview with store manager. This involved normal questions about team work and working under pressure and completing a store walk, identifying areas that needed attention (wet floor signs left out etc.).
I applied online. The process took 6 weeks. I interviewed at Lidl (Dublin, Dublin) in Feb 2019
Interview
You fill out an aptitude test, shortly after you’re invited to an interview in the back of the store where multiple other candidates are being interviewed around you, if successful you’re invited to a more formal interview with an area manager and store manager.
