I applied online. I interviewed at Lidl (Bergenfield, NJ) in Sept 2020
Interview
Job description advertised a specific location. When I arrived for the interview I was told that that specific location was not actually hiring but a new location about 40 minutes away was. They asked if I was interested in the farther location but I had to decline because of the distance. No further questions were asked.
It was a conversation with the manager. He asked me about my experience, where I thought I’d be in 5 years, why I wanted to work there, and similar type interview questions.
Overall, it was a basic interview process. They asked about experience and why someone would be a good fit for the role. Just have some well-thought-out answers to common interview questions beforehand, and you should be fine.
I applied in-person. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Lidl (Fresh Meadows, NY) in June 2025
Interview
Really easy interview process. Simple behavioral questions and scenario questions. Little to no pressure, very laid back. You should know the companies overall message and use that while interviewing for this position. Almost anyone can get hired, with or without experience.
