      Software Engineer Interview

      19 Aug 2025
      Anonymous employee
      Accepted offer
      Negative experience
      Average interview

      Application

I applied online. I interviewed at LotusFlare

      Interview

i would say the experience is mixed, some people are quite nice and some are a bit hard to say. seem like the interviewer gave a stop at the last round after complete 1-4 rounds, seems like he has a difficult time understanding the design decision from a past project, even though the other part of the last round went pretty well. questions like how do you handle errors. not very good candidate experience, if a person did not like someone's experience or something, don't loop this person into the interview process. not at the end because you *feel* like this is some imaginary red flag. don't interview with this company.. they can waste you lots of time... then put it on your jd that you want 10 years of exp... very biased, you can have 20 years of exp, if you want someone with lot of years of exp, put it on the jd...

      Application

I applied through a recruiter. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at LotusFlare

      Interview

Great process. A total of 3 technical interviews plus a personality fit. I enjoyed the calls very much. Interesting challenges and really focused on understanding how are people thinking instead of only looking for correct answers.

      Software Engineer Interview

      8 Feb 2026
      Anonymous employee
      Belgrade, Central Serbia
      Accepted offer
      Positive experience
      Average interview

      Application

I applied through a recruiter. I interviewed at LotusFlare (Belgrade, Central Serbia) in June 2025

      Interview

The process was very thorough and well-organized. It started with an HR screening about my background and expectations. This was followed by two technical interviews with engineers from different teams, and a final round with a Team Lead. Each interview included a mutual introduction and a deep dive into technical topics like microservices, distributed systems, and testing. It was a mix of theoretical questions, LeetCode-style tasks (easy/medium), and brainstorming real-world production scenarios.
