I responded to an ad from Linkedin. I got a text msg from the LV recruiter quite quickly after and arrange a phone interview a few days later. During the phone interview, recruiter asked me what I do at my current job to which i briefly talked about my duties. Recruiter then proceed to read out loud the job description I have from my resume which is very odd. Recruiter asked me if I was bilingual and i said NO. The job ad did not specify about being bilingual. Recruiter then said he will double check with his boss if being bilingual is a requirement. Recruiter then proceeded to asked me a couple more questions and then asked me again if I was bilingual. Btw, he asked me if I was bilingual three times! At this point, I already lost any interest I have working for LV. Recruiter was all over the place with his questions and was quite abrupt in ending the interview. Recruiter did not even discuss the position or talked about the company and benefits. I did asked and he just gave a very brief blurb. Recruiter then said he will call me back right away about the bilingual bit and then we hanged up! I did not hear back from him again! Very Unprofessional! This is probably the most exhausting interview I've ever had and the most cringy! For a high end company like LV, I expected more finesse and sophisticated recruiters. This recruiter was lame, to say the least! I also had an old coworker interview for the same position and she also had the same experience with this recruiter. Terrible! These recruiters are representing the LV brand and they are ruining the brands reputation. What a shame!
