You just turn up and queue very far down the street with other people who also haven't been filtered at all before this point. We were then paired up and had to sell stuff to each other in the very crowded store, with nobody watching or listening so it doesn't matter what you do. We then queued and were interviewed about 10 at a time by people who didn't even seem to be managers and didn't look at my CV before offering a trial shift. I then worked this trial shift for free, for a few hours, before being rejected for lack of experience which they'd know if they had just glanced at my CV.

Question 1
When are you available? why do you want to work here?
Group interview process. Not many typical interview questions, focused on scenarios and group work. As long as you sell the experience of the products, you are in with a good chance to land a casual role. Be confident and happy.

Sell the Twilight gift box to the group, using emotive language.
The Lush York interview process involves submitting an application, completing an initial interview, participating in a group session with role-play exercises, and attending a trial shift to assess customer interaction, teamwork, and brand value alignment.
Very engaging. You need to show off your personality and go above and beyond to engage not only the managers but the other interviewees. Lots of role play, designed to simulate the shop floor experience.
