Interview
The first part started off with a group interview where we discussed the core values and mission of Lyft as a company and then in small groups of 2 or 3 talked about how we related to one of these core values. We then took turns presenting our group members to the others. After that, we had "interview speed dating" - we had 10 minutes to meet with 3 separate employees who also worked on the customer experience team. The follow up interview consisted of two mock phone calls with customers and then meeting with the customer experience team lead and the critical response team lead.

The hiring process was pretty smooth. I initially applied in may and was given a job offer the next month. I appreciated everyone I spoke with. The hiring team was warm and inviting. I had three rounds of interviews.

Interview
Once they email you saying they would like to interview you, you first send in a written response to an email from a driver and they review it and if they like how you responded then they emailed me a link and the time of the interview. Then when you go to the link you join the meeting and you get interviewed by 4 different people including a customer role play. And they also check your internet connection. They also make sure you have a desk, chair and a quiet office space in your home.
