Interview
I had a remote and one on one interview with the acting head of Partnerships and Strategy at MPESA Africa. HR representatives from both MPESA Africa and this MPESA's contracted recruitment firm were on the call but did not participate whatsoever - they were really there monitor the interview and I guess get a sense of who I was and determine if i was the right fit for MPESA and the role that I was applying for.

Question 1
- Asked me to describe the formal/ fractional reserve banking system in great detail.
- Outline the advantages and disadvantages of commercial banks vs mobile banking or fully pledged digital banks.
- Presented me with various scenarios and asked whether or not MPESA, or firm X, should, or should not, partner with firm Y.
