I applied through an employee referral. The process took 2 days. I interviewed at MSI (Edison, NJ) in July 2013
Interview
They ask you a bunch of questions about previous jobs, your experience with sales and customer service, and your knowledge of stone products. You will interview with several different people, including team members, sales people, team leader, and possibly the branch VP.
Hired through temp company then hired on full time. They follow standard temp hiring practices of 60 day contract. Interviewed on site but had to wait until recruiter called back of offer.
I applied online. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at MSI (Lenexa, KS) in Nov 2021
Interview
When you walk in, they will force you to waste time filling out paperwork that you've already sent them.
They'll then interview you and seem friendly, but it's clear the whole time that they don't value your time, or their employees time. Overtime is supposedly mandatory as well.
I applied online. The process took 1+ week. I interviewed at MSI (Elk Grove, IL) in Oct 2014
Interview
Worst interview experience ever! I arrived about 15 min early and no one knew I was coming. After waiting about 20 min and filling out another application I was finally seen. There were two people conducting the interview. One person was on their cell phone most of the time and the other was rude. They asked me questions that were demeaning and belittling. I do not recommend working for this company
