It was such a surreal experience. I was interviewing for
position in the Jakarta branch of the company and the online schedule was booked on MS Teams. The only available times, however, were before 8AM or after 6PM local time. My first schedule was confirmed but the interviewer was a no show which means I had to book another slot. Thankfully the interviewer showed up the next day.
You can see the standard questions below (which wasn't many) but there was several thing that alarmed me. The interviewer unabashedly claimed being late even as much 30 minutes was time theft however boasts that they do not pay our overtime other than a meal which was clearly wage theft.
The interviewer spent most of their time belaboring the toils and trouble they had with "troublesome" ex-employees. They also elaborated that the work this Jakarta office do was working on their projects in USA, paying us local wage which starts at around 400 USD monthly. The maximum wage one can gain from long term employment and climbing the corporate ladder was capped at 1400 USD a month. They were basically looking for workers for near slave wage but make it legal.
I would not have accepted an offer even if I tried to ace this interview.
