Macau University of Science and Technology interview questions

Online interview. The process includes the introduction and teaching mock. Then the committee members ask the questions. The questions include the research questions and research vision. The committee member also asked some teaching experience.

The interview process is fairly good. They are focusing more on teaching rather than research. However, it seemed they were desperately looking for teaching faculties while they posted the professor position (should be both research and teaching). I received positive feedback for my interview. The bad thing was that there was no follow-up nor the information of the process until 6 months later. This is unprofessional. Then they decided to offer me a lower-level position that I had never applied for with a ridiculous payment (even with the professorship, but lower than the payment for a postdoctoral fellow in many places in the world). I don't understand this or probably they just want to decline your application in a humiliating way.
