To my knowledge, the interview process can be separated into three parts.
1) Phone screening with Hiring Recruiter. Mostly a get-to-know you, some behavior questions, and "HR" like questions such as "Are you a US Citizen?", "Are you open to relocation?". The recruiter at the time was 30 min late.
2) Technical interview with a team leader/principle engineer on Google Meet. Technical questions focused on mathematics and engineering concepts quite specific to the job description.
3) Onsite tour of the facility, in person presentation, hot seat / 1-on-1 with the team and other engineers.
The Team is quite small, apparently 3 engineers for GNC on a team of 20 engineers that handle their various products. They are looking for certain knowledge bases and talent and therefore they can be selective. This particular role is looking toward designing, researching, and developing a in-house robust navigation sensor suite.
