One-level interview with decision-makers. The entire interview was 30 minutes. The job was via an outside recruiter for a permanent role.
I received an offer the next day, which was very exciting. After reviewing the offer with my wife, I replied with a counter-offer. Although the deadline to sign was not until the following day, they reduced the reply time to within an hour. They did not agree to my counter offer and I proceeded to sign and send it in. Within that bit of time, they responded to my recruiter that because I questioned it, i didnt seem "as excited" as they were and that I must be "hesitant" so they not only rescinded the offer but said they offered it to someone internally who "accepted on the spot".
Avoid them at all costs. Not only was the way they handled the process and how they handled a response to the counter offer highly unprofessional and did not even come close to meeting a minimal level of best practices, but the entire benefits package is extremely lackluster and leaves a lot to be desired.
According to them, the head of HR has been there about 2 years and the rest of the team has been there a year or less. Red flags- there are reasons to be hesitant.
