Question 1
Statistical training background and familiarity with methods
I applied through an employee referral. The process took 6 weeks. I interviewed at Mathematica (Washington, DC) in Mar 2022
Interview
I applied online and heard from a recruiter quite a while later. Then I had a 30-minute panel interview via video call. There were two people from the team on the call. The next step, if you make it that far, involves a seminar presentation regarding your dissertation research (or possibly other major research paper). Presentation is 40 minutes followed by staff asking questions. Interviews are often typically done through the APPAM and ASSA conferences.
