Maximiner Analytics interview questions

I had apply for the post of web designer in maximiner analytics. When I reached to company they took my written test. In written test was multiple choice question. There were questions about time & work, profite & loss, english, arithmetics. There were no any questions related to my skills as I applyed for the post of Designer. Then one guy has took my interview, he asked me questions about HTML, Bootstrap and asked about myself, about my experience, why I left my previous job, my salary and my expectation.I feel like he took my interview just for formality.
