I applied online. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Medidata Solutions (New York, NY) in June 2022
Interview
Initial screening interview. The recruiter was late to the call.
Proceeded by 5 (yes 5) 30-45 video interviews of different team members. Probably should have been a 1 hour panel interview, as similar questions were asked each time. Not challenging questions, the team seemed genuinely great. It was tiring to review my resume in quick detail 6 different times though.
After a week of silence, I followed up with the recruiter... Who answered another week later that the position was on pause. Felt like a ton of time wasted on both sides for a position that was eliminated so deep into the interview process.
A month later I received two formal automated rejections for the role. Ok cool.

Interview
Zoom call with a staff member in a similar role. Scattered questions and told me they hoped that the company would reach out to me but wasn't sure of the next steps.

Interview
Went through a long interview process, 7 or 8 interviews then got ghosted by the company. First few interviews went good and the final interviewer showed up seemingly in a bad mood and didn't seem like they wanted to even talk.
