I applied through a staffing agency. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Merck (Bengaluru) in Nov 2020
Interview
There were two rounds of interview. One with Indian another with international stakeholders. Both were non-technical, they asked the general situation based question. The interviewer had zero technical knowledge. The job is good for non-technical persons, in their JD it was not mentioned.
Good process, approach and professional, I really enjoyed speaking with them and worked with the HR team think they really care about employees and candidates. Highly recommend this firm. Instruction is clear and communication is timely.
I applied online. I interviewed at Merck (Hatfield, PA) in Nov 2025
Interview
It was wonderful all around. The interviewer was a nice person, was easy to talk to. I didn't feel like I was super pressured one way or the other throughout the entire process. They seemed very knowledgeable about the position and what it entailed.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
What are my long term goals and what am I looking for
Behavioral interview, be prepared to tell stories. They seem more focused on this than actual accomplishments on resume. It's a lot of "what would you do in this situation?" Just prepare for a behavioral interview and you'll be okay.
