I applied online which was fairly straightforward and was contacted shortly to have a telephone interview. The job description online was very informal and stressed that you did not need to have knowledge of marketing, but I found that what they wanted was the opposite.
They asked me a few hard technical questions during the interview, and the application process was very formal - you had to do a presentation based on a client before getting the position.

Question 1
What is the difference between Real Time Bidding and traditional bidding?
I applied online. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Merkle (London, England) in July 2017
Interview
After submitting my application, I heard back the next day asking me to take part in a phone interview. This was really casual, just talking through my CV with a couple of questions about programmatic to ensure I had done some research. Then I got invited to an interview which consisted of a logic exercise, followed by some more talking through my CV and questions about my interest in the company. Following the success of that, I received a phone call inviting me to the final interview before which they gave me some feedback on the two prior interviews which was really useful. The final round consisted of me having to give a presentation to slightly more senior people on a Programmatic campaign I would set up for Made.com, including who I would target, what would I target them with, etc. This was then followed by an hour of questions about the presentation and further questions on my interest in working at Periscopix/ my knowledge on the industry.
I applied online. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Merkle
Interview
Dealt with 4 different people; 2 were administrative/HR then my scheduled interviewer didn't make it so someone else took over. Interviewer felt very unprepared and you could tell they were reading standardised checklist. Not sad I didn't get an offer.

Question 1
Where is the future of programmatic display going?
I applied online. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at Merkle (London, England) in Jan 2017
Interview
Applied online. Very simple form to fill out, Cover Letter required, and brief question about what it is about Programmatic Marketing that appeals to you.
The same day I received an invitation for a telephone interview.
The call was relaxed and friendly, and asked me basic interview questions first, then went on to more specific questions about Programmatic's. I would definitely recommend researching this before hand!
