I had heard about Messer Americas as being a good company to work for and applied online as I did not speak to them during the career fair. They liked my background and invited me to participate for an online interview process. The online interview was really nice. You had as much time as you needed for the interview and could re-do your videos if you felt as if you didn't like it or made a small mistake. I believe about 2.5 weeks after the interview I had gotten a phone call for an interview that would be in 2 weeks at Bridgewater, NJ. They flew me out and handled all of the traveling and hotel booking which was great. Upon arrival to my hotel, they had a nice note that welcomed you as well as a Messer backpack full of swag!
The interview was a day long event. They describe the company's past/upbringing, culture, and its future. There were multiple segments during this event that were very informative and gave a lot of life advice as well. People had different slots for interviews so everyone had them at a different time. The interview itself should be a hour but was about 45 minutes to allow me to make my flight back home. I had interviewed for the commercial track. The interviewers were incredibly friendly and well-experienced. The questions they asked seemed to focus more on personal experiences to gauge if your character would be a good fit in the company.
