I applied online. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Missionary Training Center (Provo, UT) in Oct 2012
Interview
You show up to the MTC for the initial interview after submitting the online application. The initial interview tests your teaching skills and if you do we will let you know and possibly call you for a subsequent group interview (another practice teaching situation). Some people receive the job right after the group interview while others need to pass another one or a one-on-one interview.

Interview
First round I went in and they had me teach something from PMG fairly briefly. I had 7 minutes to teach something and have it be relevant to them personally. The second round is also teaching from PMG, but a little more in depth. If things go well, then they ask you a lot of scheduling questions, etc.

Question 1
If a student responds as if they are not understanding what you are trying to teach, how do you help them understand it more clearly?
