I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Morton Steel (Brisbane) in July 2016
Interview
Initial interview with three family members, also senior staff within Morton. Interview was laid back. Very 'tradie' oriented. All went really well, although the panel did seem a bit guarded with their side of the offer. Waited two weeks for a call back, even after calling them three days after the initial interview. No response. Assumed lost. Out of the blue, got a call asking me to come in for a trial half day. Trial went well, great team. They appreciated my input and included me in everything. They seemed to be asking for a lot while giving the least possible in return. Family owned and run so possibly little room to advance within company. Felt a bit claustrophobic with all emails screened by GM, etc.
