I applied online. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at Mountaintop Consulting (Houston, TX) in July 2023
Interview
The manager of growth initiatives invited me to an initial remote interview (Zoom) conducted by an executive coach and career transition expert, who has his own consulting firm but partners with Mountaintop. The Zoom interview was recorded and had a time limit of 45 minutes, but my interviewer was gracious enough to continue over the phone when Zoom timed us out. After the interview, I was invited to complete an online assessment that took about one hour. This assessment consisted of several components: 270 yes/no questions on personality and work behaviors, followed by briefer assessments of vocabulary, math skills, and logic (Does this conclusion follow? Is this an assumption? Is this a strong or weak persuasive statement? etc.). The day following the assessment, I received a rejection email, but during the initial interview, I learned that the second round would have consisted of meeting the team I would be working with, and the third round would have been an interview with the CEO.

Question 1
Name five previous supervisors/colleagues and estimate how they'd rate you on a scale of 0–10. What would your coworkers say is difficult about working with you? What are your greatest strengths and weaknesses? What have I not asked you yet? What was a difficult experience you had with a colleague?
