over whats app via med select
very informal and a bit unprofessional
NO JD given, no information beforehand
Walked into a room, no hand shakes no nothing, told to sit down, very uninterested from the first minute as they talked amongst themselves while I just looked at them. asked me to introduce myself and I started from my academia background. I was interrupted midway about my qualifications on which I said yes I was coming to that.
After that they said they are not technical and don't have much questions for me. They were pretty much wrapped in the 5 minutes for a interview I travelled 1.5 hours for and showed no consideration . I had to chase the agency med select for a response and they just said no your not selected
They kept asking if I was British or not to which I had to say Yes I am and clarify a few times. I guess i was too brown for them. I have been unsuccessful for interview before but I feel this one was really badly handled by the management and the agency. I would not recommend taking in person for the first time only over Teams or zoom. If they are serious then you can make arrangements otherwise you will just loose out on time and money
