I applied online. The process took 2 months. I interviewed at Mutual of Omaha (Irvine, CA) in June 2016
Interview
Application process: 1. Apply 2. first recruiter 3. second recruiter 4. meet regional sales manager for in person lunch interview 5. fly out to Irvine to meet the sales VP (they pay for everything). The entire interview process was long but it shows that they are committed and put the time and recruiting efforts to hire great people. When I interviewed at CA I met some trainee veterans and they are all doing really well for themselves and are very nice people. Everyone that I met at MoO was very nice and professional. The process is long and they want people who have drive, motivation, and are go getters. There was someone else at CA with me and I don't think he did well because he didn't seem motivated enough. You have to sell yourself and be confident. I didn't accept the offer because it was bad timing back then for me to relocate and the pay structure didn't motivate me to accept the offer. Regardless, I learned a lot from the experience and I would recommend anyone to apply.

Interview
It is a very competitive interview process. They start with a phone call and then a Zoom interview. If you make it past that, they fly you into Omaha for two in-person interviews, a group project with the other candidates, and a role-play. They intentionally make it super difficult, throw curve-balls that you would have never expected or could have even prepared for. They also try to distract you and throw you off during the group project and role plays. They also test your grit by being intentionally harsh on all of the feedback. Like Gordon Ramsey when he called that girl an idiot sandwich type of harsh. I'd say the overall process can be best compared to the corporate version of pledging a fraternity.
I applied online. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Mutual of Omaha (Savannah, GA) in Nov 2023
Interview
Flew you out for 2 day interview. A series of interviews and group presentation. A dinner as well, which is the real interview. Fly you across country for interview right before finals.
